The Jabra Evolve 75 is mainly catered for business users but of course, there is no rule that it is all for business alone. If you can afford it and you need a good pair of Bluetooth headphones, then you might want to consider this. Speaking about the affordability, this thing costs about RM 13XX. No exact price was given which we don’t know why but in USD, it costs about 329 dollars (with charging stand) or 279 dollars (without charging stand).

So what is great about this Jabra Evolve 75? Let’s take a look at some of the key features :

Key features of Jabra Evolve 75 :
  • HD voice for crystal clear calls and music.
  • Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) + integrated busylight to reduce noise and interruptions.
  • Wireless range up to 100 ft / 30 m away from laptop and 33 ft / 10 m away from your smartphone.
  • Connect 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously for calls and music.
  • Skype for Business and Cisco certified device.
  • Up to 15 hours of battery life.
  • Comfortable ear cushions and on-the-ear wearing style.
  • Listen-in – a feature which allows you to easily reach button on ear cup to hear announcements without removing the headset.
  • Optional charging stand for easy charging and docking.

What are the items that will be inside the box when you get the Jabra Evolve 75?

If you see, there is a separate dongle which some of you might wonder why. Usually on laptops, the Bluetooth and WiFi chipset will be a shared one, which may not work well when you are using both features simultaneously. Connecting the Evolve 75 (or any other Bluetooth gadget) while your laptop is connected to the WiFi will cause some interference. As Jabra does not want you to suffer from poor audio or Skype call quality due to your laptop’s limitation, they have included this Bluetooth dongle so that you can enjoy superior quality while using the Jabra Evolve 75.

Now let’s take a look at some photos of the product.

The product itself has a very premium quality. The ear cushions are removable. The microphone is able to filter out background noises very well and one example given was the coffee shop or nearby road where vehicles are passing by. Well we didn’t test this but we don’t think people from Jabra are going to claim something like this if it is not even possible. Furthermore, it is catered for business users and Jabra will not be giving them a piece of junk for RM 13xx we hope.

Another thing about the microphone is, when you flip it up, it automatically mutes and the other party will not be able to hear you. In another word, if you need to make sure that the other party doesn’t hear your discussion with your colleague next to you (or probably curses, who knows), then you can just do this instead of embarrassing yourself in case the mute on your computer or phone did not work.
